We believe kids belong in nature, and we’ve developed various programs to get them there. We have programs for preschool, and Junior Kindergarten kiddos including daycare and seasonal camps offered exclusively at Henderson Recreation Centre. And of course our homebase in the heart of Fernwood.

Please note we welcome new kids throughout the year.

Our Programs

3 to 5

At our 3 to 5 programs, kiddos engage in active play, nature arts and exploration outdoors while fully supervised by certified Early Childhood Education staff.

Jr. K

Seedlings Forest School seeks to help grow and support the ever-changing child with our dynamic, experiential curriculum in our Jr. K program. By fostering a student’s sense of curiosity that promotes lifelong learning and interests, we aim to ensure that every student, as is their right, will experience the natural world as part of their education now and into the future.

We are so thrilled to share that our Director Laura, and an old member of the Seedlings team, Chelsea Brooke, have partnered together to create a NEW program called Girls with Grit.
