Victoria Bug Zoo
The Victoria Bug Zoo has been showing their awe-inspiring bugs to Victoria since 1997. This mini zoo boasts the largest tropical insect collection in North America, as well as Canada’s largest ant farm containing leaf-cutter ants. In addition to education and entertainment, a main focus of the Bug Zoo is to help visitors overcome their fear of insects and arachnids in a safe, engaging, and informative environment.
We at Seedlings have partnered with the Victoria Bug Zoo to create a training exchange program between our two teams of educators. We also just love seeing all the cool bugs!

In true Swedish style, they focus on simplicity and practicality, and we have the utmost respect for the environment.
Sierra Club of BC
Sierra Club BC works to support people stewarding abundant ecosystems and a stable climate, while building resilient, equitable communities. They advocate for a rapid shift away from fossil fuels to a low-carbon, equitable economy. They work to inspire British Columbians to value nature and to defend it. In particular, they focus on children and youth to foster environmental literacy and to encourage the environmental leaders of tomorrow.

Bear 'N Bee Therapeutic Farm
Bear ‘N Bee is a family run interactive hobby farm located in the Highlands on Vancouver Island, about 15 minutes from Victoria.
The farm is wheelchair accessible and accommodating to all abilities.
With animals, farm visits, and lots of wonderful programs, this is a place you don't want to miss.
